Welcome and thanks for visiting my site. Here you will find selections from my recent books, the Asian Trilogy "In the Dragon's Wake".
I've been working and traveling in Asia for over thirty years. The "Trilogy" is a story of one family's struggle for liberation against Japanese and Western Imperialism in Korea and China over three generations. Each book has its own voice and perspective, and gender.
I hope you enjoy my site and let me know what you think.
Thanks again, Paul Selinger
He wrote this book because there's nothing like it ‘out there,’ he says, and I think if the book were published by a mainstream house, there would be no question - independents would buy it in quantity.”

Trigrams review:
"I've rarely found the female point of view convincingly communicated by a male writer. Paul Selinger not only convinces us that we are reading from a female perspective, but that we are reading from a mid-century Asian female perspective as well...this is no small feat. The story is compelling in itself, and Selinger's direct and unassuming literary style allow us to be drawn into a tale that transcends the horrific circumstances of its setting. We become intimate with Ai-Li and involved with her family history in a way that leaves us wanting more of the beginning and certainly more of the end. This book was a great read."
